A paediatric occupational therapy service in Melbourne’s inner west

We grew to meet a need for tailored occupational therapy in Melbourne’s western suburbs

Seeds Occupational Therapy was founded by Nisha K. Bal, an experienced paediatric therapist who has been working and living in Melbourne's inner west for the past 10 years. After raising her own children, Nisha gained a deeper understanding of the challenges that children face in our modern world. Her passion is to support children in understanding their minds and bodies more deeply, giving them the tools to navigate the complexities of their ever-changing lives, while also offering guidance and support to parents in helping their children thrive as individuals.

What started as a solo practice has since grown into a small team of skilled paediatric OTs, each with extensive experience working with children. Together, they provide a collaborative, holistic approach to therapy, tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Modalities of therapy include but are not limited to sensory integration, art therapy, play therapy, mindful movement, and the cultivation of somatic embodiment. Each therapist brings their own strengths and expertise to ensure the best possible support for every child and family.
